An independent documentary showing different faces of the relation between humans and other species. Who are the animals and what place do they occupy in modern society? Why are they killed in uncounted amounts? Why are they imprisoned and sentenced to unnecessary pain although they want to live, they want to be free and they want to avoid suffering as much as we do? How does the objectification of animals reflect on inter-human relations? If the answer is THEY’RE ONLY ANIMALS, then what does it mean to be human?
They’re only animals - is the first Polish full-length documentary about animal rights. In March 2012, the premiere screenings took place in numerous cities in Poland. In May 2012, the authors gained an award from "Vege" magazine for promoting veganism. The movie shows the actual conditions of animals in Poland, describes its causes, and encourages change and animal rights activity.

Niezależny film dokumentalny ukazujący różne oblicza relacji między człowiekiem a innymi gatunkami. Kim są zwierzęta i jakie zajmują miejsce we współczesnym społeczeństwie? Dlaczego są zabijane w ilościach, których nie da się zliczyć, dlaczego są więzione i zadaje im się niepotrzebny ból, skoro podobnie jak my chcą żyć, być wolne i unikać cierpienia? W jaki sposób uprzedmiotowienie zwierząt odbija się na relacjach międzyludzkich? Jeżeli odpowiedzią jest, że TO TYLKO ZWIERZĘTA, kim więc jest człowiek?
To tylko zwierzęta - jest pierwszym polskim pełnometrażowym filmem dokumentalnym, poruszającym temat praw zwierząt. W marcu 2012 roku odbyły się premierowe pokazy filmu w kilkunastu miastach. W maju 2012 roku autorzy zdobyli statuetkę magazynu "Vege" za promowanie weganizmu. Dokument przybliża obecną sytuację zwierząt w Polsce, nakreśla jej przyczyny oraz zachęca do zmian i aktywności na rzecz zwierząt.
