Authors Page A Galaxy Unknown - Book 1 A young ensign, recently graduated from the Northern Hemisphere Space Academy, is awakened abruptly in the middle of the night by alarms, flashing lights, and dire messages to abandon ship. The petite blonde pulls on some clothes and races through the spaceship in a desperate search for an available life pod-- but it appears all have already departed. So begins the epic story of Jenetta Carver. Get a tight grip on your book and prepare for an exciting adventure like few others because Jenetta is ready to take names and kick butts from one end of the galaxy to the other. She may be small, but she has an intellect as large as Colossus of Rhodes and makes General Sun-Tzu look like an amateur military enthusiast. Valor At Vauzlee (A Galaxy Unknown - Book 2) Following her escape from Raider slavers, Jenetta Carver is returning to Earth to receive formal recognition for acts of outstanding valor. When Space Command Intelligence secures information from a reliable source that Raiders intend to hijack a valuable convoy, her ship is diverted to join a large taskforce being surreptitiously assembled. The plan is to confront the Raiders at the alleged ambush point. For the first time in Galactic Alliance history, Space Command warships might have a chance to engage a fleet of pirate ships in mortal combat. The Clones of Mawcett (A Galaxy Unknown - Book 3) While digging through the ruins of a long dead civilization on the planet Mawcett, a team of Terran and Nordakian archeologists find an underground tunnel leading to a door in such extraordinary condition that it could have been fabricated as recently as that morning. They labor throughout the day, using every modern device available to them, but are unable to gain entry. Then, in the early hours of the new day, seemingly in response to the screams of a frustrated, over-tired scientist, the door slides noiselessly open. Trader Vyx (A Galaxy Unknown - Book 4) Advanced weapons manufactured for Space Command are being offered for sale on the galactic black market. Trader Vyx, an undercover operative for Space Command, the military arm of the Galactic Alliance, has been sent to the Gollasko Colony to procure several of the weapons from an Alyysian arms merchant, as part of an effort to trace the serial numbers and end the thefts. All is going smoothly until a Tsgardi mercenary enters the room. He utters a profanity as he recognizes Vyx and immediately reaches for his sidearm. Vyx grabs for his own sidearm, but then has to dive for cover as the weapon merchant's bodyguards open up, turning the room into a killing zone of deadly crossfire. Milor! (A Galaxy Unknown - Book 5) Terrorists are creating a climate of fear on the planet Arrosa, and although no demands have been made, nor claims of credit taken for the attacks, the Prime Minister believes that the government of their neighboring planet, Selax, is solely responsible. The Selaxian president adamantly denies any involvement and turns to the Galactic Alliance for protection from their more technologically advanced neighbor. As commander of the only Space Command base in that part of space, Captain Jenetta Carver is responsible for maintaining the peace, and the task of preventing a system-wide war falls squarely upon her shoulders. Castle Vroman (A Galaxy Unknown - Book 6) From inside a giant asteroid, hundreds of light years from Earth, Admiral Jenetta Carver is beginning to look forward to a trip home, and finally receiving command of her own ship. Her five year tour of duty as the Base Commander of the Stewart SC Base is nearing an end, and the ship carrying her replacement has been underway for more than a year. But when the GSC destroyer carrying Admiral Vroman is attacked just a few light years from the base, her plans are quickly forgotten. Rescue ships arriving at the site the next day find that only corpses remain aboard the Lisbon, while a severely damaged freighter with a dead Tsgardi crew floats nearby. There's no sign of the admiral, and most of the crew is unaccounted for. Obviously, the freighter was a party to the attack, and replaying the Lisbon's video logs clearly show the other ships involved in the ambush. The fact that those other ships were all of Milori design, suggests that the Milori and the Raiders have now combined forces to bring down the Galactic Alliance. Against All Odds (A Galaxy Unknown - Book 7) With the Raider threat severely diminished and the Milori Empire crushed, peace finally seems to be on the event horizon. Admiral Jenetta Carver has been named Military Governor and Supreme Military Commander of the territory ceded in the unconditional surrender. She takes advantage of a lull in activity before formally commencing her new duties in the region by traveling home to see her family. She hasn't even been gone a month before the four nations that border the region join forces and commence a full scale invasion to arrogate the new territory before Space Command can move security forces into place. Return To Dakistee (A Galaxy Unknown - Book 8) The same archeological team who uncovered a secret underground bunker on Dakistee sixteen years earlier, when the planet was still named Mawcett, has discovered a new facility. They struggle for months to open the entrance, but the structure defies all their efforts. Finally admitting defeat, they send a message to Admiral Jenetta Carver, beseeching her to come help once again. In Region Two, Admiral Jenetta Carver is besieged with mundane work. Although she would love to drop everything and head for Dakistee, she can't possibly get away. But she also can't ignore the possibilities of what treasures, or dangers, the facility might represent. Fortunately, the battleship Hephaestus is in port, and the ship's third watch commander is available for a special assignment. Citizen X (AGU: Border Patrol - Book 1) Sydnee Marcola's greatest desire was to join the command of Admiral Jenetta Carver in Region Two, and in pursuit of that goal, she achieved top grades while at the Academy, and then again in advanced studies at the Warship Command Institute. So why have the powers that be chosen to 'waste' a valuable asset by sending her to a 'backwater' command where terminal boredom would appear to be the greatest enemy? Perhaps things aren't destined to remain quiet for long. Related Torrents
