Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as Lewis Hicks, a crime reporter who's investigating a gory spate of serial murders -- a task that hits horribly close to home when his new girlfriend is brutally murdered. Hicks gets a key lead when he discovers the killer's journal, which outlines his plans to ambush certain victims. But time is quickly running out for the madman's next targets.
