Actually, that description explains why Jones' career has been so long lived - he has constantly changed and adapted, adapting the marvellous instrument that is his voice to a variety of styles to suit the times. No matter what he is singing, he does it with the maximum effort and artistry, and just sweeps you along. Packed full of all the obvious big hits, and many slightly lesser known but very worthy tracks, this album is a real treat on the ears. Aside from his big hits and his excellent rendition of a few classic hit songs, the soulfulness and emotion in his voice on the old classic tracks 'That Lucky Old Sun' and 'Motherless Child' is outstanding, the album is worth a listen just for those two songs alone in my opinion.
