Total Annihilation v3.1 +More
There have been a few torrents floating about of this
classic game, but I remember playing with TAUCP
(Total Annihilation Units Compilation Pack) installed.
After digging around various torrents and years old
websites, I've managed to get it going the way I
used to like it.

Included:
1. Playable TA installation
The folder TOTALA contains a playable out of the box
version of TA. It has been updated with Core
Contingency (CC), Battle Tactics (BT) and the final
3.1 patch for the game. TAUCP is also installed.
The game is patched for NoCD and 5000 units.
2. TA, CC and BT original discs
These will be handy if you'd like to make your own
installation.
3. Patches and expansions:
-TAUCP
-NoCD +5000 unit patch
-3.1c Patch

Instructions:
-Extract the archive with 7zip
-Look in the TOTALA folder
-Run realfrontend.exe
You'll be given the option to disable/enable features
then start TA. If you want to play the campaign
missions, you MUST disable TAUCP from the launcher
prior to running the game.

Caveats:
To those using the original discs to install...
The expansion discs come with 16bit installers that
will simply not work on a modern x64 system.
If you have an x64 system, you'll probably have to
install the game and expansions on an older computer
or virtual machine.
The game will run without issues when copied to an
x64 system though. It is only the installers that
cause the problems.

Manual Installation
If you want to make your own install, it is important
that you install the game and expansions in a certain
order:
1. TA Game
2. Core Contingency
3. Battle Tactics
4. 3.1 Patch
5. NoCD**
6. TAUCP or any other addons**
Don't forget that x64 systems will *really* dislike
the CC/BT setup files!

Finally everything has been checked with AVG and looks
kosher. The game seems to run very well on all versions
of Windows from 95 upwards.
