Total Annihilation is an RTS by Chris Taylor (correct me if the spellings wrong ^^) who recently released the very successful 'Supreme Commander'. TA was the forerunner to SupCom, and in my opinion one of the best RTS's ever.
Anyway, its an ace game so give it a try, its still fun to play despite being forgotten

By the way, ive just nuked my pc with Adaware, Spybot, Sophos and AVG security programs, and all came up clean
