'Travels with My Camera' is a series of authored films by well-known people who travel to far-flung destinations to cover a story with particular resonance for them.

The opening film features journalist Miranda Sawyer, whose pro-choice position on abortion has become ambivalent since the birth of her son.

Miranda Sawyer is a self-proclaimed liberal feminist. As a fashionable London journalist, her guiding ethical framework has, up to now, been a vague combination of humanism, libertarianism and anti-establishmentarianism. Recently, however, this loose, unchallenged framework no longer felt sturdy enough.

Pregnancy changed Miranda's feelings about abortion. Once so sure that abortion was an absolute woman's right, she found herself wondering about it. When does a positive pregnancy test become a baby? Should she be prepared to abort the child if there were foetal abnormalities? When, exactly, does life begin, and can you ever be justified in ending it? How, as a non-religious person, could she decide these "matters of life and death"?
