Hartsvriendinnen Amethyst, Ruby, Topaz, Onyx en Sapphire krijgen het onverwachts aan de stok met Simon, een eeuwenoude, op macht beluste kwelgeest die zich voordoet als een braaf jongetje. Vreemd dat ook de edelstenen van de Trollz net nu hun glans beginnen te verliezen. Dat betekent: GEDAAN MET TOVEREN! En dat is helemaal geen toeval, want die boosaardige Simon en zijn hulpje Snarf bekokstoofden een plannetje om zo hun toverkracht te ontfutselen. Maar de Trollz vechten terug door zich in de Magie van de Vijf te verdiepen. Zo bewijzen ze dat geen hindernis te hoog is - zelfs het eeuwenoude kwaad van Simon - zolang je maar samenwerkt!
