TweetDeck is a complete desktop client for the Twitter social network, that adds new features to the original service.

If there is something with which the vast majority of Twitter desktop clients can be characterized, it has to be, without any doubt, their ease of use, their speed and the fact that they integrate services that the original service doesn't include on the website, like a service to shorten URLs or to store images. TweetDeck offers all that and much more.
Those users with less experience may notice that TweetDeck is an application that is too big and complicated, nevertheless, this is a sensation that will disappear as soon as they get the hand of Twitter, and to it ecosystem of applications and users. With this desktop client it is possible to follow conversations, send replies and direct messages, and, of course, receive notifications when our timeline is updated.
But TweetDeck doesn't only serve for Twitter, it also integrates with Facebook and MySpace, so it is possible to handle three of the most important social networks in the world from the same interface. Interface that, on the other hand, is totally customizable. Allowing the user to choose the contents of each column (the Facebook wall, the Twitter timeline, the relies or the messages,...), that quantity of columns and even the predominant colors. Of course, it is possible to have various accounts in different columns.
As as addition, TweetDeck has a service that expands that features characteristics, offering to store data in the clouds and to synchronize some configurations.
Note: It is necessary to have an account for each of the services that you want to synchronize.
