Description

SYNOPSIS TV ( 2003 -Present ) . Charlie Harper ( Charlie Sheen ) is a wealthy bachelor who has everything a man needs : a house on the beach , a Jaguar in the garage and a good hand with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted dramatically with the arrival of his brother Alan ( Jon Cryer ), who is very depressed after facing a divorce , and his 10 year old son , Jake ( Angus T. Jones ) , who move to stay and live with him. To further complicate things , there is the self-centered and controlling Charlie and Alan 's mother , Evelyn ( Holland Taylor ) , Alan's wife , Judith (Marin Hinkle ) , which currently is spreading and possibly a lesbian , Rose ( Melanie Lynskey ) , a very attractive woman , unconventional and possibly a little crazy neighbor Charlie , with whom she has a brief affair and is determined to stay in his life the way that is needed, and Berta ( Conchata Ferrell ) , the dominant Charlie housekeeper . Despite the complexity of the lives of each of the brothers and their strained relations between them , Charlie and Alan have one thing in common: they both love to Jack and want the best for him. Both brothers agree well to create a stable home for Jack at Charlie , so that together these " Two and Half Men " will face challenges to mature slowly .
