The last I knew is PSA is down to one single encoder, Dr. XJ himself.
If that still is true, that is why the PSA releases are sporadic.
About this time last year PSA had a handful of encoders and they were cranking out the releases timely.
its obviously entirely up to him what he releases, but i no longer can depend on him to finish a tv series, nor do i go to his site.
I am glad to see there is another "snob" out there that prefers webdl over HDTV.
No watermarks and it always has seem to be a better quality to me.
There isn't a RARBG 1080p web-dl for The Whispers S01E06 but did find another release that looks similar. Will do.
Edit: Enjoy The Whispers..

i've done the same with "The Whispers", as rmteam / psa were terribly inconsistent in their release formats of these 2 shows!
The truth is if rmteam/psa were releasing 1080p/web/x265 content that was better quality I wouldn't be encoding and just seed their releases. I believe they are going for size over quality and that just doesn't mix with what I want to archive. They already have a 720p season 2 release for Tyrant but it's 720p/HDTV and that won't work for me.
I definitely agree with your stance... I want to see the same quality in an x265 video that is in the original x264 video (no matter what the compression). I recall reading somewhere that this means the x265 file will be 33% to 50% the filesize of the x264.
For a standard 42min long x264 1080p web/dl (which is ~1.5gb), the x265 file should be in the range of 500mb to 750mb. That's the size I aim to download (if given the choice between multiple x265 rips).
Of course MANY other factors exist... but all else being equal, what I want is top quality x265 no matter what the size! SO thanks again!
