Uncanny X-Men v1 01-66 (1963-1970|Digital|AnHeroGold-Empire) {VTS} (Size: 485.58 MB)
DescriptionThere was no Wolverine, Cyclops was "Slim" Summers for the first three issues, and the abundance of exposition was...problematic, at times - but these were the first days of the Uncanny, Astonishing, Amazing, flat-out Awesome X-Men. One of Marvel's finest creations - from who else but Stan Lee and Jack Kirby - these early issues feature: clashes with Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the introductions of Polaris and Havok, Cain Marko - Xavier's half-brother and the unstoppable Juggernaut (bitch!), and many more central and defining ideas that have propelled this team forward for over 50 years. This is the entire original run, up till cancellation at issue 66 (1970). The 5 years after would see reprints-only till Giant Sized X-Men 01 (1975), and then finally with issue 94 this volume resumed all-new stories and began the wonderful much-lauded run of Chris Claremont and soon John Byrne as well. These issues also feature Neal Adams tremendous art near the end of the run, as well as eventually having Jim Steranko art on covers and a few interiors. MASSIVE thanks to AnHeroGold for these digital copies, please seed this one - enjoy! :-) Don't know how to read a comic on your computer? Try CDisplayEX!
