Here is music by two modernistic Russian composers on the ultra-audiophile Pope Music label. If you check the liner notes above, you will see that the recording was done with the best of the best equipment....a single pair of B&K omni mikes, a Nagra open reel digital recorder and all Cello electronics-by Mark Levinson (and interconnects) through out the entire chain. Fidelity of recording is entirely realized given its provenance.

Whether or not this music will appeal to you is entirely up to your tastes...but if you are serious about sound quality this will thrill you.

Very few of these CD's remain available these days, and have asking prices up to $100. For a good reason.
