"Volume 1 of the Bloodline series is brought to you direct from the shanties.This album features 3 local bands: Bloodlines, The Urban Mystics and The Future. Recorded in the Community Dance Hall at Freedom Farm, close to the end of the runway at Cape Town International Airport, electricity was provided by a small generator hidden away behind a tree, the recordings were made between aircraft landings. The tracks were remixed in New World Music studios and this is the result. The Bloodline series is a collaboration between artists with a common goal of playing reggae with an African influence."
