Johns legacy will continue to grow as more of the jaded non believers come to realize that his sincerity was a gift and not something to make fun of. He was also in the very top tier of song writers (his original version of leaving on a jet plane is MUCH better than the Mama's and Papa's. He created his own style, rare in these days of cookie cutter crap. This record is filled with great tracks but Allan Stones version of Rocky Mountain High really sticks out. Dave Matthews version of Take me to Tomorrow is also truly inspired.
