Transcribed from the LP using a Lyra Helikon SL moving coil cartridge into a $15,000 custom built tube phono stage. DAC was done with a Yamaha CD-recorder that makes 16 bit transfers essentially indistinguishable from the original vinyl source when played side-by-side. The CD recorder was hooked up to the phono stage with some $1000 Kimber Select interconnects for maximum fidelity. For this reason higher sampling rates were not used.
