Formed in 1997 by one man, VARDAN began his career component of Satanic Black Metal, and has totally changed direction and turned to the Black Metal Atmospheric, Depressive and suicidal. With an extensive discography, 'Winter Woods is the fourteenth studio album One Man Band that (the sixth for 2015 !!). It was published July 10, 2015 on Moribund Records.

Our Italian tireless out here an all-winter album. The difference between these albums is of course quite fine but does exist and each album sees the dose of one or the other of these elements change (melancholy, depression and misanthropy). 'Winter Woods', meanwhile, is mainly depressed. The pace is slow, plaintive vocals and tortured. Melancholic and hypnotic riffs are repeated: it is the essence of the compositions of Vardan ...

Efficiency is always of course to rendezvous with Vardan. The titles exude sincerity. For those who begin with this album, you will not be disappointed, it fits perfectly in style. The others who already know our Italian will be not, as the albums follow but not alike ...

Still a very good album D.S.B.M. next to which we must not pass!
