This collection is quite varied, with music from a large number of Christian composers and performers, but also pieces by contemporary ambient / New Age composers. There's even some bagpipe music in this pile.


I found the original collection as a mixed-bag playlist on Spotify (to which I subscribe), but the playlist had only 87 songs - which I thought was clearly "unfinished business" for a compilation piece. The title of this collection was also Spotify's idea. I simply added onto it at the end 13 more songs from some of my favorite composers, including David Arkenstone, Alan Parsons, the Bagpipers of Scotland, and a few lovely Celtic pieces by Scotch composer/performer John Doan, on guitar. God willing, (and I mean that sincerely, even if it makes you smirk), you will find some pieces in this collection that sooths your soul or at least your headache, and entertains you while doing it.
