Doing a web rip or a wedb dl is a little different than other methods. When downloading and scoring these kinds of torrents, just as you would rate a DVD compared to a DVD and a blue ray against a blue ray. So you should measure a web-dl against a web-dl. There are various methods of doing it, these days there are measures being taken to fight it. either by ruining the output or by letting them know via recording who's account it is. So we have to be smarter than ever, know our way around a video editor. And have the tools to circumvent.
But then you also need to understand, whether you record from the bitsream or from the screen. It is usually too much for any pc right now to do on-the-fly h265 encoding. So it must be captured in a much different format first.

I always try to capture from the raw data when possible, but on occasion due to errors, protection or hard-coding subs i have to do a screen grab. These have to be done well otherwise they can create a bit of blur.

When they do this i have to make the choice to turn it stereo so that yo can have what little quality there is compressed into a steady soundtrack. Though i do hope they will improve this

Lastly you also need to understand that even though my connection is good, when a new episode of anything is introduced. the source servers are under load. I have seen them forced down to 1,800k at times. At those times faced with a choice of bringing you nothing or what the site is broadcasting, i bring you what it is broadcasting. But i usually will release at least one other version that will capitalise on the lull afterwards.

Please think about these things, doing web-dl's is not just a simple matter of getting some cheap software capturing and uploading. And it takes a fair bit of firepower too.
