The Viper needs a driver, so when Outfit driver Michael Payton is injured and captured, his memory is erased, and he is given a new identity as Joe Astor, MetroPol employee. The Outfit discredits the Viper project, but when it is canceled, Joe and Julian steal the Viper and strike out on their own private war against crime. Contains all episodes from the NBC Season 1, which was cancelled after 13 episodes before it was brought back into syndicated seasons two years later with a new cast. This is the original season starring James McCaffrey, Dorian Harewood and Joe Nipote. The episodes were ripped and encoded by me from VHS transfers on bootleg DVDs. The only exception of this is the uncut Pilot Movie, which contains the cut dream sequence and extended scenes, and was given to me on the ProjectViper Forums.
