Description

VLC player doesn't seem to like these .flv format files on my linux mint 13 desktop.

If you have similar problems I suggest trying a different media player, Movie Player works fine for me.

Can't comment on Windows Media Player though because I don't use windows - please someone leave a comment about this if possible.

Education is a human right and should be free like air, sex and water... in that order ;)

Guys, I tried to convert files by powershell script but failed. So i made my own batch script for windows. This script converts all flv files to AVI files and then you can play in any player. All seeking and audio sync problems are gone after converting to AVI with my batch file.

1. copy all flv files to some folder in root of your any partition. e.g. C:vtc

2. Download and extract batch file and tools and put them in the same c:vtc
3. open an administrative command prompt and change to the directory c:vtc
4. type conv.bat and press ENTER in the command prompt.
5. wait and see. this is a time consuming process. But you can play file named "01 Welcome.AVI" after you see "02 Practice Requirements.AVI" is present.

6.After converting all files, you can move AVI files to some other location or just delete flv files.

Note: do not close the command prompt windows until whole process is finished, otherwise you will see problems when trying to do it again.

ok so i got this some vids are not played completely in VLC so i also had K-Lite_Codec_Pack_995_Mega all vids are played in this with media player clasic.
