Here are two fantastic albums from the early 70's LA afro-funk band War. Each has been remastered in 1995 to 20 bit from the original master tapes, overseen by the original producers. The sound quality is superb.

Deliver the Word includes extended funk groove jams 'Me and Baby Brother', 'Gypsy Man' and 'Southern Part of Texas', with all the remaining tracks being equally as strong.

All Day Music also has 'Slippin in to Darkness', 'Nappy Head' as well as a live jam of 'Baby Brother'.

These albums were from the halycon days when there was no dead space on the LPs...each and every track is a winner.

Actually...these are some of the finest sounding commercial recordings I have-that are not designed to be audiphile spectacular from the beginning. Its real music the way it is supposed to be heard. The improvements over the regular non-gold CD's are in this instance quite remarkable, and-in this case-easily worth the price differential.

Plus the music has got a groove and arrangements that are quickly becoming a dead art. Essential listening!
