Plot: Injured on the battlefield in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, a soldier returns to his provincial hometown to find his daughter missing in mysterious circumstances. Plagued by epileptic seizures as a result of his injuries, the taciturn Wayland is hell-bent on finding her, and enlists the help of former lover Grace, his daughter’s friend Natalie, and the corrupt Detective Jones in his search. Beneath the façade of the close-knit market town, Wayland’s searching unearths a sinister underworld where all is not as it seems. As his seizures grow worse, Wayland becomes embroiled in a disorientating web of deceit and revenge, and the hunt for his daughter turns into a quest for personal redemption.
