Safety Continuity is Wedlock's second full length album from 2009. It was recorded in Chapel Hill at Cinderhouse, and constituted a full Wedlock line-up(Paul Allgood(vox), Baxter Smith(keys;programming), and Lee Whitsel(bass; engineering) from start to end on all 10 tracks. Outside of the studio Allgood acted as both manager and promoter in touting the album to some notice. Music critic and journalist Ned Raggett saw Continuity as a bit "subdued" for the most part when compared to their debut "Exogamy," but was quick to point out jazz influences that weren't necessarily a bad thing. Martin Strong rated it 7 out of 10, citing "Witneeses" and "Octagon" as high points. Sharing Widget |
