Description

This is the 2014 remaster of the 1986 Wham! compilation "The Final". It's a shame that a lot of Wham's material has never had a decent remastering other than special occasions like this. It'd be nice to have a neat box set that included their 3 studio albums, The Final compilation, and a CD/DVD of their 1985 concert in China. Anyways, no other compilation could ever best summarize Wham! than The Final.

The album was mastered with the K2HD process, which involves mastering an album in a 24-bit resolution with a frequency range up to 100kHz, with the final product ending up at the standard 16-bit 44.1kHz output, but resulting in a product that reproduces the original sound quality of the masters as close as possible as opposed to the standard CD format. I might. I've always just used Foobar to rip and convert everything since everything seems to go more smoothly; I'm pretty sure Foobar isn't giving me crap quality, but I'll consider using EAC for later stuff.
