Wii 4.2e Hack

What you will need:
* SD card
* USB Flash/Hard Drive
* PC with SD card reader & Wii game files [ISO, cISO or WBFS format]
* Wii Console

0. Making a bootable SD Card:
Isert SD Card to PC, Format SD card, go inside "SD Card" folder, copy all files to SD Card, insert SD card into the Wii.

1. Installing The Homebrew Channel & Bootmii via exploit:
Run bannerbomb by going to the SD Card menu (0.jpg) & choosing yes to load boot.dol/elf (1.jpg). This runs the Hackmii Installer from which you should install the Homebrew Channel & Bootmii as IOS & boot2 if possible.

2. Making a NAND backup:
Restart your Wii, if Bootmii was installed as boot2, then it will show up as soon as the Wii is turned on. If Bootmii was only installed as an IOS, then it must be loaded by pressing home in the HBC & clicking Launch Bootmii. Press the power button on the Wii 3 times to get to the last option, then press the reset button. [You can also navigate with a gc controller.] Press reset to choose the first option, & then follow the directions on the screen to make your NAND backup. [Bad blocks are no problem]. Insert SD Card to PC and Backup the Bootmii folder, NAND.bin, & keys.bin elsewhere & erase them from the sd card. [You can also rename]. Insert SD Card to Wii and restart wii. Click on the new icon "the homebrew channel" (0.jpg).

3. Installing cIOS & Patching the System Menu IOS (The good stuff!):
Run "1. Wii Mod Batch (v3.0)" (2.jpg). It should automatically start installing the neccesary cIOS, system menu protection and 236 (in case you need it down the road) wads you need. Make sure it says "0 failed" at the end, and after a few seconds it will return you to The Homebrew Channel. Continue on to Priiloader if desired (recommended).

4. (OPTIONAL) Priiloader brick protection: recommended to block disc/online updates.
Run "2. Priiloader 236 Mod" (2.jpg) Once Priiloader launches, press + to install priiloader. You may get an error for "loader.ini" and/or "password.txt" simply ignore these. Restart your Wii while holding reset. White main menu will show up (3.jpg). Enable desired hacks and save. Hack Suggestions: Auto press A at health screen, Block disc updates, Block online updates, Remove NoCopy save file protection, Region free everything (4.jpg). Save settings and Head back to The Homebrew Channel.

5. Installing WAD Manager & USB Loader GX:
Run "Yet Another Wad Manager" (2.jpg). If asked, select IOS249 for IOS to use (IOS236 may also work if you have it installed). Select Front SD card as the source to load wads. If it asks about NAND emulation, leave the option disabled. Go to "USBLoaderGX_v3.0_IOS249.wad" and press A. Then follow instructions on the screen.

6. Installing Wii Backup Manager & Copying games:
Go to "Wii Backup Manager" foledr & Run "WiiBackupManager_WinXX.exe". Insert USB, Click on Tools->Format Drives, choose USB Drive, new file system NTFS & click start. Click on Drive 1 and choose your drive letter. You will now see all games that you have on the Drive. Notice that there is information about your drive on the bottom. After you have selected your drive in the Drive 1 tab, you can choose individual ISO, cISO or WBFS files or a folder to add to your drive. Go to the Files Tab. Then choose "Add", then "Files" or "Folder". Choose what games/images you want to transfer by using the check boxes. Then click on Transfer and choose Drive 1. Let the program do it's work and your games will be on the Drive!

7. Playing games:
Insert USB to buttom/left Wii. Restart Wii & click the new icon "USB Loader GX" (0.jpg). Game list will load from USB (5.jpg).
