These versions were scanned, ocr'd, proofed and converted by Dead Man, not me. All praise and thanks to Dead Man! I've included the most recent versions I know to be available, but Dead Man seems to be actively engaged in fixing ocr problems, so newer versions may be available as time goes on.

I haven't read these books, but my impression is that they were inspired by the success first of Lord of the Rings, and second Watership Down. But apparently they are much, much more than the expected rip-offs of those classics. The first book in this series, Duncton Wood, is by far the best known. Here's a description:
