Willie's Chocolate Revolution Tuesday, 7th April 2009 8pm to 9pm Channel4 Part 1 of 3 With Easter just around the corner, millions of Britons will be tucking into mountains of industrially produced chocolate that is high in sugar and fat, and contains little or no actual real chocolate. But chocolate enthusiast, the extravagantly named, Willie Harcourt-Cooze, is back with a new series to show everyone that when it comes to chocolate, we deserve better. In his previous series for Channel4, Willie's Wonky Chocolate Factory, we followed Willie's successful attempt to get a cocoa estate in Venezuela off the ground and its product into his new factory in Devon, and then finally off to the shops with the end result. This time around he's looking at producing a mass market chocolate bar to rival the likes of Cadburys and Mars, and also examining whether real chocolate has, as he believe, a real health benefit that the Brits are missing out on as their chocolate is just fat and sugar infested goo. In this first episode it's off to Spain to see what they think chocolate is: and it's a far cry from the 21% cocoa mass that the British eat. Enthused by his Spanish trip he makes the plans for a mass market bar, and so it's off to Venezuela to look into sourcing extra supplies of the cocoa raw materials. He also introduces researchers at Brunel Univeristy to his idea that cocoa in its purest form has a health benefit, and sets them on their way in their research. === File Information === File Name: Willie's Chocolate Revolution - s01e01.avi Duration: 00:47:40 (71,492 fr) File Size: 379 MB (or 388,884 KB or 398,217,216 bytes) bytes === Video Information === Video Codec Name: XviD Video Bitrate: 977 kb/s Bits / Pixel: 0.178 bits/pixel Resolution: 624x352 (1.77:1) [=39:22] Frames Per Second: 25.000 fps === Audio Information === Audio Codec: 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3 Audio Bitrate: 128 kb/s (64/ch, stereo) VBR LAME3.90 =============================== Some of the other rather spiffing shows available now and always if you signup free @ www.TheBox.bz: Comedy: The Office, Peep Show, Coupling, Chef, Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, The IT Crowd, Brass Eye, Nathan Barley, Young Ones, Monty Python, Blackadder, Alan Partridge, Father Ted, Coupling, Little Britain, Mr Bean, Extras, Green Wing, Mighty Boosh Drama: Casualty, Holby City, The Bill, Hustle, Skins, Shameless, Ashes To Ashes Entertainment: Faking It, Derren Brown, Scrapheap Challenge, Strictly Come Dancing, Wife Swap Game/Quiz Shows: Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Have I Got News For You, Deal Or No Deal (UK) Education/Documentary: Planet Earth, Horizon, Panorama, Mark Thomas (Comedy) Product Food: Hell's Kitchen, Jamie Oliver, The F Word, Kitchen Nightmares, Masterchef, Great British Menu, Gordon Ramsay's Cookalong Home/Property/Garden: Property Ladder, How Clean Is Your House?, Changing Rooms, Grand Designs, Homes Under The Hammer, To Buy Or Not To Buy Motoring: Top Gear, Fifth Gear Music: Top Of The Pops, Jools Holland Reality: Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!, Any Dream Will Do, Grease, Pop Idol, Wife Swap, X Factor, Badger Or Bust, Apprentice UK, Dragons' Den Sci-Fi: Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Torchwood Sport: Football (Soccer), Cricket, Rugby, Snooker, Darts, Formula One (F1GP) Soaps: Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Neighbours, Hollyoaks Style/Fashion: What Not To Wear, Project Catwalk Kids: Teletubbies, Blue Peter, Tikkabilla, Andy Pandy, Postman Pat, Shoebox Zoo, Brum, Bob The Builder, Young Dracula, Sarah Jane Adventures, Shaun The Sheep Sharing Widget |
