How Install Windows Media PlayerTo Version European N and KN editions

The European N and KN editions of Windows 8 include the same functionality as Windows 8, except for media-related technologies (Windows Media Player, web camera), and certain preinstalled media apps (Camera, Music, and Video). This tutorial will show you how to download and install the Media Feature Pack for N and KN editions of Windows 8 to add Windows Media Player and related technologies back.

You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to install the Media Feature Pack.

1.Do step below for Windows 8 N/KN, Windows 8.1 N/KN, or Windows 8.1 Update N/KN.


2. For Windows 8 N/KN, go to the site below, select the language you want, click/tap on Download, select to download the correct 32-bit or 64-bit .msu file, click/tap on Next, and save the .msu file to your desktop, and go to step 5 below.
