rufus works but you need to know how to use it with the correct settings otherwise it doesn't add the bootsector to USB.
You can also just add bootsector with bootice, but you would also have to know how to do that as well.
If you just need MBR Legacy Boot then use whatever program you like to make a single NTFS partition bootable USB.
You can't upgrade 8.1 pro to a newer 8.1 pro.
A fresh install is the only way.
If you actually read the TXT that comes with KMSpico it says it may show as false positives and what files to exclude for some AV programs.
It scans clean and there is no virus, But if you don't trust the Activator then don't use it and find your own.
The Activation Folder is there for your convenience and know one is twisting your arm to use it.
