Wolverine and the X-Men is an American cartoon series by Marvel Animation. It is the fourth animated adaptation of the X-Men characters, the other three being Pryde of the X-Men, X-Men, and X-Men: Evolution. The show began airing in the United States on January 23, 2009.[1] On September 6, 2008, in Canada, Teletoon began airing Wolverine and the X-Men starting from the beginning. All the episodes have finished airing in Mexico, Brazil, and Portugal, and are no longer running in the United States on Nicktoons, in Canada on YTV, in Australia on ABC, and in Singapore on okto.

In the United States and Canada, the series is shown in full screen (4:3 aspect ratio), while in the UK, it is shown in its original widescreen format. Another difference between the broadcasts is that the UK version is edited for violent content, with the 17th episode, "Code of Conduct", not airing at all as a result.
