I'm not sure if it'll be available after the 30 day trial, since I just installed today. I downloaded python, opened Python GUI, I guess since I had already clicked on the .py file a few times, the file opened up automatically in GUI. Then I selected run from the toolbar menu, and it opened python shell with a license number. I input the number on the registration page, but said it was wrong, or something. I closed the program and opened it again, and no longer get the 30 day warning. So I guess it works..

If you still face this problem - could you provide more info about this problem. I tried it on WinXp and Win7 with python 2.7 and noticed no problems.
Maybe try to run it in console so you could write place and error message, as 'Invalid Syntax' is so general that pointless in solving attempt.
