Description

A x265/HEVC Player is a REQUIREMENT for this Torrent!

If you want the OLD format that works with all the OLD kit, get the x264 version.

X-Men: The Last Stand 2006, in 1080p in x265 aka HEVC and HE-AAC 7.1 English, with Two Commentary Tracks,

and more subs than KAT can list, and the 11 Extras!, all for about 1.90Gb!

Encoded using the time consuming 2 pass, 10bit color at my higher bit rates, from the Blu-ray source, for the highest quality possible.

*X-Men: The Last Stand on Blu-ray isn't really all that sharp of a picture compared to some of the best new releases.

thanks for attaching the Extras! :)
Thanks!
You're awesome, Joy.

Are you gonna be including the extras of other movies you upload in the future as well?

And I hope this isn't the wrong place to ask, but do you mind uploading some Studio Ghibli films as well?
I have my releases with the Complete. When I say it's Complete, then it has the extras.
i would care if she said that every torrent she creates comes with a sprinkle of fairy dust. it`s STILL frickin` awesome
Incorrect. Doesn't matter that the source was 8bit. Encoding in 10bit almost completely reducing banding issues, also helps with dark scenes, and oddly enough high motion becomes less pixelated.
Again that's not how it works. When encoding it's looking at the Image of the frame, not the bits. It then encodes from scratch, with no regard to how the bits where before.

This also pans out in every test of 8bit vs 10bit while using an 8bit source.

Either way, why are you complaining and arguing instead of just downloading a different torrent that you can enjoy.
You really don`t see the difference between these 2 types of encodes ? It`s so visible to the naked eye ! 10bit rocks
I have found that those whom say HEVC is no better than x264, are using encodes of 10MBs to 20MBs, trying to get the best possible image.

At my lower bit rates, it matters and same for 8 vs 10. Banding almost disappears. Feedback confirms. People don't bitch about banding in my 10 bit encodes, even at the same bit rates.
we could have ULTRA HD 10,000 x 5,000 beamed directly into our eyes with 7.1 sound, but there will ALWAYS be someone out there bitching about something. or just trolling for the lulz.....
From my viewing experience, I tend to see 10-bit utilized the most in the anime community for fansub releases.

I've watched 8-bit and 10-bit versions of the same title at roughly the same bitrates, and 10-bit encodes do appear to reduce banding (from a little to a lot, depending on the quality of the source and numbers chosen for the encode, of course). But then again, most modern anime these days are drawn in some kind of digital fashion, anyway, so it's kind of a gimme.

I believe the more "digital" the elements are, the more 10-bit will help. I mean, 10-bit can't hurt an encode other than, maybe, highlighting some extra-ugly details in the production because the banding is less prevalent.

At any rate, 10-bit for most live-action movies or TV shows might be a little overkill, unless there are lots of digital effects, or if the movie/show was created/shot digitally. And unless the viewer is just visually very picky, most average people probably won't notice much of a difference at all. It just depends on the source (and the person).

I absolutely hate, X3, as part of the X-Men movie franchise, though, so I will not be downloading this. I do, however, appreciate Joy's efforts in encoding it (and gave it a thumbs up, anyway), and will download any other X-Men movie she decides to do. Well, accept that Wolverine Origins one, 'cause that wasn't so great, either. I guess First Class and The Wolverine are the only ones left?
Frame by Frame screen shot comparison. My 8bit vs My 10bit, same settings except for color depth. The screens are lossless .png. Notice that the 10bit image is a larger file every time; this indicates that more data is present.
Also notice motion is clearer in the 10bit

The Big Bang Theory S08E24 8bit vs 10bit
ya gonna have to wait and see. unless you know how to clone her ?!
