Before installing, don't forget to rename the Folder (remove Russian characters) if you're using an English version of Windows. Installer is pretty straight-forward, just use your common sense.
Thankfully, the actual game is in English. Thanks Fenixx!

Apparently you have to rename the folder to remove the Russian (?) fonts e.g. X Rebirth.v 1.12. (Buka).(2013).Repack (if you don't have Russian fonts installed) or else installing it via setup.exe will result in an error: "the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

Default installation language is Russian with no apparent way to change it to English. So unless you're Russian and have the appropriate fonts installed, you're screwed.

Not at all: my pc: i5-3550 CPU 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.7GHz, 8gb ram, radeon 7800 hd, and no fps drops at all, no lags, it's just the problem with the game having a lot of bugs and egosoft would do better with good screenwriters.
