Bravo! Luciano Pavarotti, opera's golden tenor, makes his long-awaited
film debut in a movie dedicated to lovers everywhere.
Pavarotti stars as Giorgio Fini, an Italian tenor on a triunphant tour
of the United States. When he is stricken with a sudden "crisis of the voice,"
Giorgio and his manager (Eddie Albert) are thrown into a panic. The prominent
throat specialist who arrives to treat him is played by the beautiful Kathryn
Harrold.
Set in the rich world of classical villas and fine hotels, the film is
a feast for the eye as well as the ear. Academy Award-winning Director Frank
Schaffner (Patton, 1970) and Oscar-winning Cinematographer Fred Koenekamp (The
Towering Inferno, 1974) filmed on location in Italy, New York, Boston and San
