Koning Qin wil heel China in zijn macht hebben, om zo de eerste keizer te worden. Al een tijdje willen huurmoordenaars hem vermoorden. Er zijn drie moordenaars, genaamd Broken Sword, Flying Snow en Sky, waar de koning vooral voor vreest. Hij heeft dan ook al vele jaren een beloning voor degene die deze drie kan uitschakelen. Op een dag krijgt de koning dan bezoek van de mysterieuze zwaardvechter Nameless, die beweert de drie moordenaars te hebben vermoord.
