i tried it, it didn't turn out how i wanted.

works well to a point. Don't expect 100% of the vocals to go, just those mixed in the centre. Great fun to make your own karaoke tracks.

actually removes main vocals, but not supportive ones that enhances main vocals. other than that, works great and simple to use!
