Yurei Attack KINDLE MOBI by Hiroko Yoda (collection of Japanese ghost stories)

Yurei Attack (full title is "Yurei Attack! The Japanese Ghost Survival Guide) by Hiroko Yoda with Matt Alt as co-author and translator, is a full colour and beautifully illustrated book; art and design is by Shinkichi, a much in demand graphic artist (if you set publisher's info and your Kindle can handle it...otherwise try the program Calibre to read it on your laptop. Mine is older so only black and white for me). It's an informative, lively and very fun book to browse through! Yurei Attacks offers an organized and well presented collection of 39 various ghost stories--both ancient and modern--along with a history of and explanation of how Japanese ghosts differ from European style ghosts, and their place within Japanese folk history and mythology.

Otsuyu, The Tale of the Peony Lantern
The Lady Rokujo, The Tale of Genji
Isora, Tales of Moonlight and Rain
