It is probably not related but the _NSAKEY identifier was introduced into all Windows operating systems from Win98 on wards which coincidentally happened after MS won a US court case with IBM which prevented IBM's OS/2 from emulating the Microsoft O/S pushing IBM out of the market. Microsoft should have lost this case as it handed MS the monopoly on the O/S market, such a monopoly however would greatly improve the ability carry out such an attack as discussed in this documentary.
