A young classical singer falls in love with a street thug.

Inspired by Winterreise, Schubert tragic vocal cycle, the film tells the story of Eric, a 21-year-old talented singer student at the Moscow Conservatory. He is lonely, fragile and vulnerable.
The story unfolds over 3 days before an important vocal audition. During a bus ride Eric meets Lyokha, a 23-year-old street thug who attracts Eric’s attention by his eccentric, aggressive and valiant behavior.
Two opposites collide and are attracted to each other. Lyokha gets himself into real trouble with police and criminals. He turns to his new friend for help. Eric, overwhelmed by sudden emotions and feelings cannot refuse. This relationship leads Eric to his winter journey.
