I earned my Bachelors of Art in Graphic Design from the University of Texas at Austin way back when computer monitors were only black and white. About 7 years later during the Internet boom, with the desire to gain more technical knowledge, I went back to school at the Art Institute of Dallas and studied Multimedia & Web Development. While there, I realized my love for web design. Over the years I have worked as a graphic designer, multimedia developer, web designer, user interface designer and in marketing. I started a web design, development and marketing business in 2003 with a buddy of mine from college. Around that time I discovered Content Management Systems and started learning every one I could get my hands on (Drupal, Joomla, SharePoint, LiveSite, Expression Engine and WordPress). I slowly started converting all of my sites to WordPress. I've taken many courses on Udemy to polish my programming skills and am very thankful for the opportunities which allow students to learn and make a better life for themselves while remaining affordable when compared to the outrageous cost of college. I hope to educate and empower students to pursue their dreams because opportunities are everywhere and only limited by your imagination. ![]() ![]() Sharing Widget |
