Charlie Luxton helps Jayne and Alistair Lewis, a Stirlingshire couple trying to self-build an innovative, barn-style home which can grow and shrink depending on their needs. They’re constructing three connected pods which can be opened-up or shut-down to meet demand. Charlie has lots of suggestions for how to achieve the agricultural look they’re after. The build gets off to a great start, but when money gets tight, Jayne and Alistair are left wondering whether they’ve made a mistake.
