Cooking The Mediterranean Way (Size: 4.14 MB)
DescriptionCooking the Mediterranean Way An introduction to Mediterranean cooking and food habits, featuring traditional recipes and including information on the history, geography, customs, and people of this region of the world. Product Details Language: English ISBN-10: 0822512378 ISBN-13: 978-0822512370 Reviews If you have never heard the term Mediterranean, then this might be a good book to start in finding out what this type of food is. It has 22 recipes in all. If you don't have a clue how to roast potatoes or make mint tea (2 of the 22 recipes), then by the time you get to a few of the more technical recipes, like Tagin bi Dajaaj or Dolmades, you will be very confused. The collection is all over the Mediterranean map with recipes from Morocco(ok there's just 1) and Greece, and Spain, and Turkey and Italy, and Israel. Plus one from France for stuff tomatoes. If you want a really great recipe for Tagin bi Dajaaj, this book is worth hunting down at your local public library. I'm not sure I would say it was worth buying. It contains background into the food, land and its people, extensive glossary and a menu divided into the usual sections you see in a cookbook. Related Torrents
