The Beeb currently plan this will have been Craven's last outing. I hope not.

In a turnaround to the traditional whodunnit this is very much a whydunnit. It is obvious from the start that a husband has killed his three children and then tried to gas himself in a car on the night before Christmas Eve. The children’s bodies have had toys strategically placed in their hands. It is an act of grotesque cruelty.
