Kakumeiki Valvrave is a Japanese Mecha anime series produced by Sunrise. It is directed by Kō Matsuo, written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, who wrote Code Geass and the anime adaptation of Angelic Layer, and features character designs by Katsura Hoshino, the writer and artist of D.Gray-man.[1] The series premiered on MBS (Animeism block) on April 12, 2013.[2] The anime is streamed with English subtitles by Crunchyroll.[3] The anime series has been licensed in North America by Aniplex of America.

Apparently killed by Dorssian spy L-elf, Haruto learns that somehow his mind was transfered to his body and by protecting his friends, L-elf's companions now believe he is a traitor. Assisted by some of his classmates, Haruto takes measures to reclaim his body and regain control of the Valvrave to fend off the Dorssian invasion. Haruto gets relieved upon learning that Shōko is fine, but he gives up on telling her what he truly feels upon realizing that he is not a normal human being anymore.
