I decided to pick this up on a whim because I have always loved this series (a favorite of mine from back in the day). I also wanted to dabble a bit with Doki's new HEVC/H.265 encode/batch of the series and I was impressed with the results. I made this remux primarily based on Doki’s new 720p HEVC/H.265 FLAC JP-BD release (which has updated subs). I synced in the English 2.0 16-bit FLAC dub audio from CBM's US-BD release. I created a Signs & Songs only track based on Doki's subs (it has the best translation and karaoke). I also kept CBM R1's subs as well. There is definitely a visual improvement in Doki's new HEVC release vs their original 10-bit release from years ago but I'm not sure if that is due to the new codec or use of slightly different filters (and more current techniques). It is discussed a bit by anonymlol in its BakaBT torrent release. Anyway, if Sentai ever dubs the rest of the series, I'll definitely pick it up. The balls in your court now, Sentai! I’ve made a BD 720p Hi10p version as well which is similar to Joseole99's version in that we both use the 720p Hi10p Doki release, however, my version uses 2.0 16-bit FLAC English Audio from the US-BD (Joseole99's is AC3 audio from the US-DVD), mine has slightly updated subs and includes the CBM R1 subs track as well.
