Feast of a Thousand Beasts "Eschatos" is a unorthodox black metal band from Riga, Latvia, founded in 2012, with members who have worked with bands such as Ocularis Infernum, Grondh, Wagars, Velna Krusti etc. Their debut album – “Hierophanies” was highly critically acclaimed from metal media across the globe and was praised for being distinctively original and fresh. The album recieved the prize as best latvian metal album and best voice of the year at annual latvian metal awards and was nominated as the best hard rock/heavy metal album in Zelta Mikrofons (grammy analogue in Latvia). “Hierophanies” was also released on tape by Tridroid Records from USA, Minnesota, releasing bands like Marduk, Unleashed and Voivod. In the latter half of 2014th, Eschatos announced an intermission from live concerts to concentrate on new material. In the second quarter of 2015 their new album – “The Grand Noir” was released. Written, arranged and produced by the band itself, recorded at Eschatos Studio and Pump Recordings by Eschatos and Gints Lundbergs, mixed by Guntis Podvigs and Eschatos at Eschatos Studio, mastered by Ģirts “Lomix” Laumanis at Hodila Records.
