Your file browser does not appear to formate Factory until you select the target format, so a bit weird, but as long as you know that it is no problem. You can select individual files to be converted, or complete folders, and also modify some basic conversion settings.

Formate Factory is not particularly innovative, but what makes it really useful is that it deals with images, as well as audio and video. Most converters like this dealing with audio and video only, so add images to the mix gives it an advantage, especially considering it's free.
