I remember going to see this flick in the theaters way back when. I did not get the same ghostbusters feeling like the first one.

I guess any sequel would be tough to top it though. That being said, there where lots of red flags showing a very quick production.

It seemed like they only way this got made was of a huge promise to Bill Murray that he got major screen time. In fact, his presence kills and lifts the production.

The script seems unfinished. A few more drafts where in order but was not done in favor of well, CASH.

The effects are a mixed bag. Some can be seen exactly how they are done while others look good. Most do not look good.

I remember little of the plot from years ago. I do not remember any laugh out loud moments.

Most of the relationship banter between Venkman and Dana are gone now. As well as a few crops to minimize showing off bad effects. The protagonist is a great example. Most closeups are gone.

Some of the jokes are touched up so as they can have a better effect.

New beginning and end.

Because of this, the flick comes off a tad more serious. The pacing is quicker so the mind can enjoy what is there rather than linger on the bad parts that ruin everything.
