The first night of the Kinder Revolution Tour hit the road with all cylinders running at full tilt. With the addition of Jorgen Carlsson in the role of Bass Player, the Mule has entered into a brand new musical dynamic that is simultaneously funky, beautiful, rocking, mellifluous and mesmerizing. The night, and Jorgen's first Mule-ing, began with Wandering Child, Larger Than Life and Thelonius Beck. Having instantly proven himself worthy of the role, Jorgen then led the way in to Don't Step On The Grass Sam, then Warren started in on Streamline Woman and they all showed off their skills on Catfish Blues. After Beautifully Broken, the set ended with a Mule standard brilliantly played; Thorazine Shuffle. Set two got underway with a first timer. Rod Stewart's Stay With Me tore the place apart and the follow-up Rocking Horse reverted back to it's original arrangement and was stunning in it's delivery. She Said, She Said found it's way into Tomorrow Never Knows after which Danny Louis picked up a guitar and rocked out on Trying Not To Fall.The post-Drums portion of the evening was just as raucous as the first. Fallen Down led into The Other One Jam and Mule sandwiched Superstitious to end the set. The night's two song encore began with Warren and Danny only performing a beautiful rendition of Hallelujah and ended with the full band sizzling through Slackjaw Jezebel.
